WARJI, BAUCHI STATE, NIGERIA, 13 DECEMBER 2012: Sa'ade participates in classes at Hardo Isa Primary school. Sa’ade has to walk about 5-6km to reach school. The trek takes over an hour. School starts at 8am, so she has to wake up at 5am in order to do her chores and then walk to school. The children do not have water close to the school so they become dehydrated and tired and therefore lack concentration while in class. Sa’ade mentioned she enjoys the learning however she only hears a little of what the teachers says due to tiredness from the long walk. She attends school about 3 days out of the 5 due to the challenge of getting there.
